ITINERARY
Day 1 - Fly to Delhi.
Day 2 - Delhi - Meet and transfer to hotel. Heritage Inn/Ahuja Residency.
Day 3 - Delhi/Amritsar - Fast train to Amritsar. Stay at Mrs. Bhandari's guest house. Visit Golden Temple
and Wagah Border.
Day 4 - Amritsar/Pragpur - Drive 4 hrs to Pragpur, a heritage village, stay at Judge's Court, a heritage hotel.
Day 5 - Pragpur - Explore the village.
Day 6 - Pragpur / Dharamsala - Drive 3 hrs via Kangra Fort to this Buddhist enclave. Stay at Clouds End Villa.
Visit Macleodganj home of his Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Day 7 - Dharamsala - Visit Tibetan monasteries and the nearby Norbulingka Institute which is deeply involved
in the preservation of traditional Tibetan arts and crafts.
Day 8 - Dharamsala - At leisure or day trek.
Day 9 - Dharamsala / Chakki Bank / Agra - Drive 3 hrs and take train. Stay at Taj View Hotel.
Day 10 - Agra / Jhansi / Orcha - Taj views at sunrise -- then city tour. Afternoon- Train to Jhansi; then
drive half an hour to Bundelkhand Riverside Resort.
Day 11 - Orcha / Khajuraho - Visit Orcha Palace. Then rive 4 hrs to Khajuraho. Tour of temples, sound and
light show. Stay at Taj Chandela.
Day 12 - Khajuraho / Varanasi - Morning at leisure. Afternoon fly To Varanasi. Stay at Palace on Ganges
Hotel.
Day 13 - Varanasi - Morning Boat ride, tour of city and Sarnath.
Day 14 - Varanasi / Delhi / Departure - Fly to Delhi.
